Why do some men from the African countries think it's OK not to use deodorant??

The clothes are sharp, the hair is combed, they are shaved and wearing nice shoes...But the smell will send you into a coma. It%26#039;s like they don%26#039;t smell themselves. The women are not like that, so what%26#039;s up with the men??

Why do some men from the African countries think it%26#039;s OK not to use deodorant??
It%26#039;s not a part of the culture for many foreign countries to use deodorant. Their societies accept natural body odor, so deodorant is not an issue for them. So, their body odor is normal to them. The perfumes and deodorants that men in the rest of the world wear is probably offensive to their noses. Maybe the women adapt better because they have had to deal with feminine hygiene issues; deodorant is just one more thing to make them more acceptable. Maybe sweaty pits are a masculine thing!
Reply:maybe they like the smell. maybe they havent quite evovled that part yet and the smell is part of the sexual attraction. like a mating call. or something to compare, who smells the most.
Reply:deodorant stops the natural process of perspiration, this is a way for our body%26#039;s to release toxins. Who are you to judge? Of course it is OK.
Reply:culture i would presume, if what your saying is thru. Just like some cultures find very long necks attractive. Everything is relative. What seems normal to you probably seems strange to someone else. Thats life and its pretty m uch what makes it so interesting.
Reply:Deodorant is known to cause Alzheimer%26#039;s. There are a lot of countries where deodorant is not used by many people. I have been in france, italy and Denmark and there were plenty of people not wearing deodorant there, but then again they sell beer at mcdonalds, and they take 2 hour lunch breaks and everything is a lot more laid back.
Reply:Deodorant is a luxury item in many parts of the world.

If there was a fart deodorizer I would be embarrassed every day at work unless someone told me about it. If you know this person you can suggest deodorants by mentioning the one you wear and see how he reacts. If he still wont wear deodorant try sniffing coffee beans or farting like crazy all day.
Reply:This is not an issue about just African men. Guys from all over have this problem. In some cases, yes, they are actually incapable of smelling themself. Other times, it%26#039;s because they%26#039;ve never taken it seriously when someone told them. When a girl says he smells, he might think she%26#039;s just not into him; and if a guy says it, he ignores it, he doesn%26#039;t care what another guy thinks. If you ever encounter this in a relationship, be honest, be serious, and be compassionate - nobody likes to hear they stink.
Reply:its not there culture u think there over there livin in huts and **** and using deoderant?
